Thank you so much for placing a link on your site to my page "Night Terrors and Hearing Voices". I'd like to suggest two points in which you can improve the way you're presenting that link: 1. My perspective is actually not a Spiritualist one, for Spiritualism is a particular tradition which I do not belong to. I think what you really mean is simply "a spiritual perspective". In fact it would be *most* helpful if you said "from the perspective of a healer and lightworker outside all religions and spiritual traditions". 2. Actually the page is written *not* from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective at all, but, as I say, from a healing / lightworking perspective outside all traditions, in which I see the problems caused by certain Tibetan Buddhist practices. Indeed, certain material on my site shows me to be a strong critic of various aspects of (Tibetan) Buddhism, in that I point out those aspects of that tradition which are about power and control agendas rather than true spirituality. I hope you find these notes helpful. Best wishes to you all, Philip Goddard.

I would like to point out that owing to a website 'migration' to a new domain name, the URL for my Night Terrors and Hearing Voices article has changed. It is now: http://www.uniqueness-in-unity.co.uk/sambogakaya-flashbacks.htm It would be nice also if some kind soul took action on my previous post and corrected the information about that page. Thank you. Best wishes, Philip Goddard.

I would not continue to place this link in - information given is partly incorrect

I would not say that this link is beyond religion at all if anything it is critical of Buddhism and Tibetan teachings. I know people who practice buddhism and they do not have the difficulties he has experienced. It also seems to highlight the writers beleif in another religion/ spiritual practice. There are links on the site to them. One must always bear in mind that this is his personal experience and viewpoint. There are many reasons that one may start to hear voices and trauma is one of the main ones. I agree with Tapio, I do not think that this is an unbiased view any longer though it does give one persons life exprience. Regards Adrienne

i've been hearing voices for a year and a half, and after a lot of research and reading i've come to this conclusion. we are all born with spirit guides who can relate to us thru our intuitions. at times of great need they become audible to us(in the beginning mine were very noisy and would boom off buildings outside)and try to help us with problems.my voices have kept me awake at nite alot of times in order to get me to do positive things in my life that are important to my well being. i've improved myself and the voices have been much less noisy. it seems from what i've read and experinced that once the voices come they NEVER completely leave. my experience has prompted me to want to write a book, and i am reading and writing to hone my skills to the point i feel confident in my skill. regards michael...

Thank you for the very interesting account of your experiences. I have a little similar experiential understanding: http://www.metaot.com/blog/reiki-facilitate-spiritual-emergence-personal-journey though not as detailed, vivid or interpreted. I agree with your warnings about practising Vajra with attachment. Personally though I am continuing to practise Vajra meditations. Non-attachment (though difficult for most people to master) is believed to be the key. V
