Germany: Netzwerk Stimmenhoeren

Netzwerk Stimmenhoeren

The German National Network (NeSt e.V.) was founded in 1998. It has about 130 members and an office in Berlin.

Activities:

  • There are five self help groups and three trialogue groups on hearing voices in Germany, and - not to forget - more than a 100 psychosis seminars.
  • We offer a confidential helpline in three cities (Berlin, Frankfurt, Neustadt) and there are 19 contact persons who represent the "NeSt" all over the country.
  • We publish our little magazine ("Unser Kleines Stimmenhoerer Journal") four times a year.
  • Five conferences have been organized in Berlin since 1998. The next one will be international and will take place on the 19th and 20th of October 2007.

  • Further Information:

  • Antje Mueller and Caroline von Taysen hold seminars regularly.
  • Monika Hoffmann, one of the co-founders of the "NeSt", is still one of its most active members.
  • Andreas Gehrke wrote an interesting book about his voice hearing experience ‘Aufbruch aus dem Angstkaefig – Paranus Verlag’ (note: It is only available in German at the moment. Perhaps somebody could find the means to translate it into English?)
  • Read more about our founding member Hannelore Klafki, who very sadly died in September 2005.

In germany, we have a complete new approach to the human psyche. It`s called emotional clearing (EmC), and is based on decades of experiences with meditation. There, you are guided to go inside and confront your inner voices, and deconstruct them, till you finally realize, what they where in the first place. So it`s not so much battling them, than to really understand them. Try it, you will be amazed. cheers Joerg Dao.
