Paul is the voluntary coordinator of INTERVOICE. He has been involved in the hearing voices movement since 1988. He helped introduce the work of Marius Romme and Sandra Escher into the UK. He was a founder member of the Hearing Voices Network England and the helped form the first self help group to be established in the UK.
In 1997 Paul assisted in the formation of INTERVOICE and became the coordinator, a role that, amongst other things is intended to help INTERVOICE members maintain contact with one another; to assist host countries organise the anual steering group meetings: to send out email newsletters ot the large group of INTERVOICE supporters and to support the development and running of the online discussion forum and INTERVOICE website; to write and disseminate press releases and to generally promote the aims and objectives of the organisation.
Paul's background is in community development and mental health campaigning. Paul lives in
Spain with his family and works for his own company, Radish Online with his friend adn colleague, Neil Morris, in providing support to websites and online discussion forums. Paul also works as an English teacher and animator, working with children and adults.
