Intervoice 2007 in Denmark

The Danish Hearing-voices Network hosts the Intervoice meeting in Lyngby near Copenhagen.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 31st of May and Friday 1st June and is arranged in conjunction with an International Conference on Voice-Hearing Tuesday 29th May.

The meeting will be held at the Raavad Youth Hostel complex in Lyngby where all participants will be accommodated. For the conference details see the separate Intervoice announcement on the website.

The youth hostel comprises 22 rooms with a total of 94 beds – that is the rooms are doubles, and 3-4-5 and 6-bed rooms. The price includes the use of the conference facilities and food and they have given us the use of their beds for free for all. Therefore, as far as is possible, the two reps. from each country will have priority over the double rooms. The rest on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to offer hotel rooms elsewhere for the 2 reps. from each country, however if participants don’t want to spend the night at the hostel they can choose to book elsewhere. The price however is still the same for participating in the meeting whether you choose to stay for free at the hostel or not.
 
Practical info: bed linen and towels are not supplied although they can be hired at the hostel for 45 and 15 kroner respectively.
There are other hotels in the area should anyone prefer to stay elsewhere. We can assist with finding and booking alternative accommodation.

The cost of the Intervoice meeting is 1.180 kroner – inclusive of two nights accommodation and 6 meals.
The meeting starts on Wednesday evening with dinner and finishes on Friday afternoon.

The program for the two days will be arranged in the traditional way. Speakers will include:

• Marius Romme and Sandra Escher, Paul Baker and Caroline Von Taysen.
• Dirk Corstens would like to present his PhD research.
• The various member groups will be invited to speak about the activities in their respective countries.
• There will be a party with dinner and music on Thursday evening.
