Children hear voices too
In fact as many chldren hear voices as have asthma
Hearing Voices Network (HVN) is an organisation committed to raising awareness of and reducing the stigma of hearing voices in adults and children.
If children are going to cope with the voices they hear, they need to be able to talk to someone who understands and accepts their experience.
The attitude and reaction of those who live or work with children, or make decisions involving them, is key in helping children to learn to cope with their voices.
HVN is offering training for young people who hear voices and anyone who supports/works with them, to learn more about what its like to hear voices when you’re young and gain ideas about how to respond to young people who hear voices, either;
Come along to a days training at the Network Office on
18th September 2007 (price £65 per person)
Or we can come to you, and provide a days training at
£500 (per group of up to 20).
If you are a young person who’d like training or information for yourself and other young people, get in touch and we might be able to provide it for free!
If you’d like to book some training or find out more about this project, or if you’d like a copy of our Children’s Leaflet contact HVN
