I was amazed to find that such a site exits, which can be a solace to all the voice hearing people. I was more than surprized to find that the India, second largest country in the world has no nerwork or group working on this issue. I want to become a member and start a group, how can I go about it? Can any body guide me, I know that when the auditory hallucinations are destructive and troublesome, it is a great relief to talk with somebody, who is empathetic and nonjudgemental. How can we start it in India, that is a question. I can devote any amount of time for it, which is the greatest resource. I, myself, am a medical doctor and public health professional of 20 years standing.

Really it is important to get organized every where and let our brothers and sisters get benifited. Not only those who have access to internet and computer, but even those who need it and are illiterate. It should become a movement with every body joining hands to mitigate the suffering. The suffering, which is enormous, in the form of labelling, crude therapeutic measures, social ostracism, loneliness and fear of unknown. Let us get together and face it, fight it and finish it.

I have been recently accused of being mentally ill and I am now 49 years of age. I just didn't notice so people would like to think, for the ten years I nearly died over it, in an eight year or so marriage of course, that is IE visited with systemic violence. The doctor I supposedly have as an inmate friend now has to diagnose me appropriately with the new tag of systemic discrimination, however welfare seems to have bought off my right to exist without the diagnosis of mental illness and have sold outright MY medical file. They forgot my radical gene disposition and let me squander away any deal for compensation of my mother through legal extortion and bribery, fraud, forgery of govs. and governments have since made foreign the jurisdiction I need to receive by the governments to make up the deficit caused by mental health tags. She MY MOTHER was Jewish and Indian and inherently of Irish heritage never recognized of formerly the EITHER or compensated for her life long stay buried in torture in the mental healthcare system in Canada. The women and children in housing holocaust(s) all over the world are being threatened with eviction daily as the govs. waste away our allies, and our mental hygeine in an welfare removal embattlement with the recipients of Ontario, Canada and continue to tamper with the minds of mothers and fathers, refugees, other minorities all across the provinces, eastern and western regions, plus the territories. I could not imagine what would possess a government in the middle of the day simply to get rid of programming like the bigoted and bootlegged welfare system. Starving in Ontario... Karen
