From the introduction:
The third chapter (on group therapy) is mainly a manual for group treatments for people with auditive hallucinations. Its structure is derived from behaviour therapy and is set up in twelve sessions. Years of practical experience helped the author B. Steultjes to bring the textbook and the workbook more and more to the heart of the problem.

This chapter is about a form of subsidiary grouptherapy for people who, despite the use of (antipsychotic) medication, are seriously impaired in their daily performance by hearing voices. It pertains people with different diagnoses, what they all share is hearing voices.
The therapy is based on the principles of cognitive behaviour therapy. This form of group therapy for people with prolonged psychiatric problems is mainly about individual therapy, custom-made for the individual needs of the person who hears voices. The group answers this purpose.
