Exploring frameworks for Visions and Voices, New Zealand, 13th September, 2007
“Hearing Voices Network Aotearoa New Zealand” are holding the following event to mark World Hearing Voices Day.
EXPLORING FRAMEWORKS FOR VISIONS AND VOICES.
They have three wonderful speakers who will share with us their experiences with other realities. Providing alternative views to voices and visions that are within a wellness model.
Terri Batten will speak of her knowledge and experiences as a Shamanic Practitioner and the practice of soul retrievals in healing.
Norman Young is a well respected Spiritualist Medium. He will speak of how he communicates with the world of spirit.
Naomi Epiha will speak to us on Wairua health and the importance of whakapapa within her work as a Maori Healer.
Afterwards we will share a light supper and conversation. We would be delighted if you could bring a plate to share.
When: Thursday 13th September 2007, 7.00-9.30pm
Where: The Annex Room, Point Chevalier Community Center, 18 Huia Road, Point Chevalier Auckland.
Who: All welcome, especially those that hear voices, friends and families, and carers, and anyone interested in supporting our network.
Cost: Entry is by donation. We suggest $5 for waged, and a gold coin donation for seniors and unwaged.
