Connecting People and Ideas in the Hearing Voices Movement

Paper LightbulbsThe Italian Hearing Voices Network has launched a new blog as a tool to promote debate and discussion between anyone interested in the topic of hearing voices. They have integrated ‘google translate’ into the blog to enable people to read it in many different languages. They hope that this will enable people outside of Italy to join in the discussion and post their comments too.

The blog is open to both voice-hearers/listeners and those who support them on a professional and/or human level.

The blog has a number of sections including:

“We and the voices” – a space to learn from direct experience of voice hearers in the belief that sharing this knowledge helps people to deal more effectively with voice hearing. They also hope that this will enable those who do not hear voices to gain a fuller understanding of the experience itself.

You are welcome to contribute to the discussion by leaving comments on the blog, but you are also encouraged to write short contributions, articles and video messages. Readers are also welcome to suggest new sections for the blog. This really is an interactive community.

Intervoice was set up to support the International Hearing Voices Movement, celebrating the diversity and creativity within it. We do what we can to share information and connect people with groups, networks and resources.
