Yutaka Fujimoto

A new Japanese book titled “The World of Auditory Hallucinations / or Hearing Voices” (if translated into English) was published in October 2010.

It was edited by the Japanese Association of Clinical Psychology, but not directly by the HV network Japan. Yutaka Fujimoto, one of our HV network members, who is now the president of that association is the chief editor of the book.

It consists of such chapters as follows:

• What is the Auditory Hallucination like, written by Yutaka Fujimoto
• The Brain Research to the Auditory Hallucination, by Dr.Takashi Asada, an expert brain pathologist
• The Auditory Hallucination and the CBT, by Dr.Seiichi Harada, a well-known psychiatrist
• The Narrative Approach to the Auditory Hallucination, by Minoru Miyawaki, one of our colleague psychologists
• The INTERVOICE Activities, by Dr.Tsuyoshi Matsuo, well-known as a bluesman among INTERVOICE people
• Psychiatry and Hearing Voices, by Dr.Fukuro Ikuta, a member of HV network Japan, who has been heading toward the holistic medicine turning from psychiatry
• A New Approach to the Auditory Hallucination; Hearing Voices, by Wakio Sato
• “Recovery Never Happens in Isolation”, the document of Ron Coleman’s lecture held in Japan in 2000, when Marius Romme and Sandra Escher also gave speeches respectively along with him.
• This book was edited so as to be read by people at large. We are expecting the book to have good sale, and that people will identify the Hearing Voices approach among multi-dimensional view points.

There is no English version of it.
