Thank you for all that you do! Together, we are breaking the stigmas and living with mental wellness! Ophelia , April 2008

This is a great site. I have just recently found your site and am impressed with its format and content. It is helping me tremendously in removing the concept of isolation that I had formed in my mind. It may not be the correct thing to say but it is a good feeling to know that so many others are experiencing and coping with a similar experience. Erskine, March 2008,

.... I´d like to commend you for the great service it provides for those who hear voices. Keep up the good work! Simon, UK, November, 2007

hi- i found this very interesting and helpful to read because i could relate to a number of the individual stories, which i seem to need right now.......i need to hear i'm not alone. I need to hear that the "trauma" i experienced is not nothing. i need to hear it's happened to other people too and it's not okay. i need to hear that what i am is a normal consequence to what i lived. Denise, USA, November, 2007

Hi everyone! I like this website :) It clears up any misinformation regarding the Myth of Mental Illness and is encouraging. I will recommend this website to others ... Clare, October, 2007

... I have only recently come upon the work and activities of Intervoice and, I must say, I find the approach to be something of a psychological revolution! Joseph, Ireland, October, 2007

This is a very useful and informative site. Carol, June, 2007

I am absolutely intrigued with the openness of this website in fact I never thought I would come across stories of discovery and recovery. Trimkiwi, New Zealand, June, 2007

... thank you for allowing me to have a voice about a very important subject that affects me and many others in so many ways! It is really refreshing to hear the truth about a still taboo subject and to know some people are aware enough to KNOW what to do about a most important issue in todays " modern " world! yours appreciatively Ssteve, June, 2007

... highly informative. bob, June, 2007

This is a fantastic contribution to those of us who work with people who hear voices and don't believe medications are the only (or necessarily the best) way to respond to this situation. Brooke, June, 2007

I was amazed to find that such a site exits, which can be a solace to all the voice hearing people.. Dr. Yeshwant Pandurangrao Muley, India, May, 2007

I am sooo excited to see how much work is being done in recognising and attending to voices ... well done... this work is so exciting Yoav, South Africa, April 2007

Recovering from voices by changing your relationship with them

hi- i found this very interesting and helpful to read because i could relate to a number of the individual stories, which i seem to need right now.......i need to hear i'm not alone... Dr. Romme, please, please also share your overview of the steps taken in the recovery process. anxiously awaiting to hear how that happened for people. thanks! Denise, October 2007

This article is very interesting and explores concepts that I was not aware of until I recently attended a hearing voices workshop held by Arana Pearson of Keepwell NZ. My son has recently been diagnosed with Schizophrenia (18) and my aim is to learn as much as possible to help my son to get on with his life... it would have been helpful for someone to have discussed this in more detail. I have had to research on my own for ways to understand and help my son. Tracey, New Zealand, October 2007

How I tamed the voices in my head

I'm so glad to read here that normal people like myself have over come this not so normal problem. I started hearing voices as young as twelve, which was about six years ago, and they continue to date... I'm afraid to bring this up with my doctor, since it doesn't really affect my life outside of my head. Brittany, October 2007

Hidden demons : A personal account of hearing voices

I too am a mental health prof. However, after several stays in hospital i too learned the horrible 'rules' you described. Seeing it all wrote down moved me to tears ...Karen, July, 2007

Its nice to see people communicating freely. I was hospitalised 7 times... Its great to see people finally discussing the voices and people that they hear. The more I read the more I realise how similar peoples experiences are. Jane, New Zealand, November, 2007
