TED is a not-for-profit that aims to promote ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’. It’s grown from a conference in the U.S. to a network of worldwide events showcasing the best speakers and thinkers. From April to June 2012 they’ve staged a global talent search across 6 continents for Ted 2013 ‘The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered.’ London held its talent search on April 22nd at the British Library and Eleanor Longden gave a fantastic talk on ‘Learning from the voices in my head.’
This was the first time somebody had spoken about the experience of voice hearing and is a real opportunity to raise awareness internationally. Although she only had 6 minutes Eleanor gave a powerful and moving testimony and you can watch it here:
You can also vote for Eleanor to speak at next year’s TED so don’t forget to rate her presentation!
I tried to access the link; however it was not “available.” I’d love to hear her talk, so would you please check to see if the link is accurate?
Thank you and thank Eleanor for all the important work on voices.
