Understanding and Working with the Consequences of Childhood Sexual Abuse

8th, 9th & 10th November 2011, Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham NG22 9DN

This congress looks to explore child sexual abuse which is a global problem that negatively affects many women and men. It will aim to highlight the long term detrimental effects such as mental, physical and emotional problems. It will explore ways of making sense of a person’s experience in relation to the abuse suffered. It will highlight the tactics used by abusers; it will also explore ways of unpacking frozen terror associated with child sexual abuse.
