2021 World Hearing Voices Congress: Survey

2021 World Hearing Voices Congress: Survey

February 2, 2021 | Ireland, News | Share your views

We are excited to confirm that the 2021 World Hearing Voices Congress will be taking place in Cork (Ireland) from 1-3 September 2021.

The World Hearing Voices Congress is an annual event, providing a wonderful and rare opportunity for those who hear voices and see visions to gather together alongside family members, friends, mental health/social care workers, academics and other allies.

The organisers are planning a hybrid event – with delegates joining them both in person (where possible) and online. Ofcourse, everything depends on Covid-related restrictions (travelling and social distancing, for example). With this ongoing uncertainty, they are interested to hear from people who would consider attending either virtually or in person. This will help them plan a Congress that will meet our varied needs and hopes.

Complete the survey

We would appreciate your support in completing this brief survey for the organisers. It would be great if you could share it around to help ensure it reaches as many people as possible.

Find out more about the event

The organisers have shared this video as an introduction for those who don’t know Cork already.

We look forward to meeting many of you in Cork on 1-3 September (and, if you can’t be there in person we look forward to seeing you online).

If you’d like to find out more about previous congresses you can browse our directory. Each congress is a unique event – based in part around the needs of the local area and the interests of the organising committee. However, each one is a space where voice-hearers and their allies are welcome.
