Ideas, Inspiration and Support Needed
Jess and Maria, facilitators of the Newport Hearing Voices Group in South Wales, have contacted INTERVOICE to ask for ideas and inspiration to help plan an exciting World Hearing Voices Day event.
Inpsired by the the Hearing Voices Movement, Jess and Maria are planning to create an event that will celebrate and unite people’s experiences and interpretation of their voices, through their highs and their lows. They hope the event will unite people from across the UK.
Jess and Maria tell us that they are anticipating the event will include very inspirational speaker, accounts of individual experiences, poetry from their creative friends, a choir and, most importantly, food!
They would really appreciate your help in providing ideas for what you would like to see at this event, welcoming any thought you may have.
They also welcome any help people can give them in preparing for, or hosting, the event on the day.
The event will be held on 14th September in Newport, South Wales, at a venue which has yet to be confirmed.
